Your public booking page lives at book.avita.salon/your-salon. It stays
closed until three conditions are met — not one. If the page says
"Online booking is not available for this business", one of these is
missing.
1. Online booking is switched on
Settings → Booking → Online booking. This is the master switch for the whole salon.
Each branch can override it. A branch left on "inherit" follows the salon-wide setting; a branch switched off individually stays closed even when the salon is on. That is deliberate — closing one branch for renovation should not take the others down.
2. The branch is active, not still in setup
A new branch starts in Setup while you are still filling it in, and a branch in Setup is never offered publicly. Finish the branch's details — address, timezone, hours — and it moves to Active.
This is the one people miss. Booking can be switched on, the branch can look complete in the dashboard, and the page still returns nothing because the branch never left Setup.
3. You have at least one bookable service
A service appears online only when all of these are true:
- its status is Active
- Bookable online is ticked
- it is offered at the branch (Services → the service → Locations)
- at least one staff member is assigned to it and marked bookable
A salon with services but no staff assigned to them will load an empty booking page. So will a salon whose only stylist is not marked "bookable online".
Hours: the quiet one
Even with all three above, the page shows no available times unless there are opening hours for both:
- the branch — Settings → Locations → Hours
- the person — Team → the staff member → Working hours
Availability is the overlap of the two. If the branch is open Tuesday but nobody has Tuesday hours, Tuesday shows nothing. An empty calendar almost always means one of these two is blank, not that the software is broken.
Still closed?
Open book.avita.salon/your-salon in a private window. If it loads but
shows no times, it is hours. If it refuses to load at all, it is one of
the three conditions above.
